Vehicle Structures Engineer II

📋 Description

• Bring flight structures from concept to hardware ready for launch.
• Full design cycle: conceptualization, analysis, manufacturing, testing.
• Design flight/ground components using NX/TeamCenter; analyze with Nastran/ANSYS.
• Create and release drawings; support fabrication; optimize for additive manufacturing.
• Collaborate across additive, design, test and loads & dynamics teams.
• Document work and drive decisions to meet schedule and cost.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a full cycle design engineering role
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of structural analysis and test (hand calculations to advanced)
• Demonstrated knowledge of structural strength, stability and fatigue failure mechanisms
• Demonstrated knowledge of additive and traditional manufacturing processes
• Experience with NX/TeamCenter; Nastran/ANSYS preferred
