📋 Description

• Independently prepare, induce, maintain, and monitor animals under anesthesia, and recognize and
• Perform veterinary health exams and medical procedures with minimal oversight on species including
• Administer clinical treatments by the appropriate routes (PO, SC, IM, IV), including placing
• Keep accurate, timely medical records and documentation that meet IACUC, USDA, AAALAC and GLP
• Operate and maintain laboratory, medical and custom equipment, and troubleshoot and escalate
• Own assigned projects from start to finish, and take responsibility for keeping your area

🎯 Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT, or equivalent) in good standing, or eligible
• 2+ years of working with animals in clinical practice or research animals
• Proven competence in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, catheter placement and treatment
• Experience with animal husbandry and an understanding of animal welfare regulations
• Clear, professional written and spoken communication of veterinary and scientific information to
• Solution-focused: approaches challenges with initiative and sound judgment, focusing on actionable
