📋 Description

• Supervise, schedule, and mentor the veterinary technician and assistant team, ensuring adequate
• Conduct onboarding, training, and ongoing skill development; identify and close competency gaps
• Deliver performance feedback, complete reviews, and partner with the Hospital Manager on hiring
• Foster a collaborative, low-drama culture and serve as the first point of escalation for team
• Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep and
• Maintain compliance with practice protocols, controlled substance logs, OSHA and state veterinary

🎯 Requirements

• Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
• Prior leadership experience in the vet field
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
• Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient
• Knowledge of DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines
• Clinical experience in anesthesia, surgery, radiology, or dentistry is a plus
