Vice President, Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft and negotiate healthcare data and software licenses (inbound and outbound), master services
• Advise on federal and state laws governing the collection, de-identification, licensing and use of
• Maintain and strengthen our compliance program – think policies, training, risk assessments and
• Support our contracts team to improve how we get deals done across contracting processes
• Shape how our commercial teams understand and value legal and compliance, partnering with internal
• Mentor and develop team members as our legal, compliance and contracting functions collaborate to

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. with active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 7+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience (healthcare information/technology background
• Familiarity with how life sciences and healthcare organizations use de-identified data (you don’t
• Experience drafting and negotiating software and data licensing agreements
• Comfort navigating privacy laws and de-identification standards
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools across legal, sales ops and finance
