Vice President, Lender Finance, Underwriting

📋 Description

• Participate in meetings with private equity sponsors and borrowers to develop an understanding of a
• Review materials including confidential investment memorandums, management/lender presentations
• Evaluate senior financing requests to determine credit quality of opportunities and appropriate
• Identify specific merits, risks, and mitigants for each transaction and perform market, industry
• Lead due diligence on loan and investment opportunities working closely with a Managing Director
• Create an investment thesis (go / no go decision) for each transaction and make investment

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 8 years minimum of overall relevant financial services, investment banking or lending experience
• Minimum of 1 year in a manager role preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
