Vice President of Finance

📋 Description

• Serve as a member of the leadership and strategy execution teams, advising the CEO, COO, and
• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing Finance Team, fostering accountability, collaboration
• Direct the annual budgeting process, establish financial benchmarks, and oversee ongoing budget
• Lead monthly budget-versus-actual reviews, identify variances, and recommend practical action plans
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and performance metrics to support strategic planning
• Oversee monthly and year-end financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reports for senior

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or master's degree in finance or a related discipline is
• At least 12 years of management experience, including five or more years in a senior finance
• Required experience working in nonprofit organizations; experience in education or familiarity with
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting systems, fund accounting, government funding compliance
• Demonstrated experience building, improving, and scaling financial systems, processes, and teams
• Exceptional financial analysis, business judgment, forecasting, budgeting, and problem-solving
