VP Engineering - Infrastructure & SRE

📋 Description

• Own infra vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead infra, platform, and SRE teams; hands-on engineer.
• Own reliability end-to-end; define SLOs and budgets.
• Manage on-call rotation; serve as incident commander.
• Drive AI-boosted SRE transformation and tooling.
• Partner with Security & Compliance to meet PCI-DSS & SOC 2.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in infra/platform/SRE; 5+ years leading teams.
• Deep hands-on AWS prod experience: compute, networking, IAM, multi-account.
• Deep Kubernetes production experience (EKS preferred); cluster lifecycle.
• Deep expertise with RDS/Aurora (MySQL/Postgres): HA, backups.
• Proven DR/BC ownership; defined RTO/RPO; tested failovers.
• AI-forward leadership; using AI tooling in ops today.
• Experience running 24/7 high-availability platform; incident command.
• Willingness to on-call; lead recovery from outages; stay hands-on.
