• Design the systems that make Backblaze a great place to work when there's no office doing that job
• Run a small HR Operations and strategic HRBP team
• Build engagement as a leader-owned discipline with outcomes
• Develop strategic employee and leader communications
• Design culture as a design output for a remote-first, internationally expanding company
• Ensure remote working excellence across geographies

🎯 Requirements

• Operated teams outside the United States (EOR or owned entities)
• Scaled a company through roughly 500-1000 range with international expansion
• Builder who builds with people, not around them
• Uses AI agents in daily work
• Leads a team and is close enough to the work to know when it is good
• Cares about making a company a great place to work in distributed environments
