Wet Chemist / Wet Chem Technician

📋 Description

• Perform wet chemical analysis of samples accurately and efficiently, following approved testing
• Operate laboratory instruments, including AAS, ICP, UV, LECO and XRF, to support laboratory testing
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report instrument faults or maintenance requirements to the
• Follow quality control procedures, maintain accurate laboratory records and report any
• Prepare, handle and label laboratory solutions and standards correctly.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, ensure proper use of PPE and comply with safety, hygiene and QHSE

🎯 Requirements

• A Chemistry-related qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience in wet chemical analysis.
• Practical experience with AAS and ICP is a priority.
• Experience with UV, LECO and XRF is an advantage.
• Good understanding of laboratory procedures, quality control and safety requirements.
