Associate Product Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Contribute to 3D CAD modeling and 2D engineering drawings for product components and assemblies
• Apply foundational engineering analysis methods including tolerance analysis, FEA, and DFMEA
• Support the build and evaluation of prototypes, develop test methods, and execute engineering tests
• Work closely with Industrial Design, Program Management, Quality Engineering, Hard Product
• Create and maintain clear engineering documentation including specifications, DFM, and design
• Actively develop expertise in design, manufacturing processes, materials, and product development

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Proficient in 3D CAD software; SolidWorks preferred
• Foundational understanding of GD&T and experience creating 2D engineering drawings
• Familiar with common manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, or CNC
• Some exposure to engineering analysis methods - tolerance analysis, FEA, DFMEA, or similar
• Strong mechanical aptitude and curiosity about product design
