Compliance Associate - Bank Sponsorship & Product Expansion

📋 Description

• Serve as a day-to-day compliance point of contact for sponsor bank partners — responding to
• Review new products, features, and market expansions for compliance impact, and translate
• Build and maintain compliance documentation: requirement matrices, policies and procedures, launch
• Read and interpret bank partnership agreements, network rules, and regulatory guidance, and flag
• Partner with Product and Engineering from the start of the design process so compliance
• Support disclosure, marketing, and UX reviews for accuracy and consistency with consumer protection

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within banking, fintech, or payments
• Working knowledge of the bank sponsorship / Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) model and third-party risk
• Familiarity with core consumer financial regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, UDAAP, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg CC
• Ability to read and interpret bank partnership agreements, regulatory guidance, and compliance
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working directly with Product
• Excellent written communication skills, including experience creating compliance documentation
