• Curate engaging playlists/editorial experiences across genres for ANZ audiences.
• Balance data insight with cultural instinct and human judgement.
• Analyse user behaviour and performance metrics to optimise programming.
• Create commentary, video content and on-camera moments for editorial voice.
• Identify emerging music trends and moments for timely local programming.
• Champion local artists and export opportunities in global editorial.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and comms to realise local market goals.
• Develop creative editorial formats to deepen user engagement and trust.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in music programming, curation or culture journalism across digital, radio, music, TV or similar platforms.
• Broad genre expertise in Dance, Electronic and Hip-Hop; preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AU/NZ music culture; forecast global trends.
• Confident on camera with authority and authenticity for a broad audience.
• Excellent written skills for sharp music/culture commentary.
• Deep understanding of digital content, social media and youth audiences.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflows.
• Comfortable using data and analytics to inform editorial decisions and measure performance.
• Keen eye for design and visual storytelling in artwork and playlist imagery.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage high-volume programming.
• Collaborative, curious and energized by intersection of music, culture and technology.
