Credit Policy & Assurance Manager

📋 Description

• Lead a team responsible for reviewing lending decisions and assessing compliance with lending
• Identify trends, policy breaches or process gaps through structured quality reviews, and recommend
• Own and maintain credit risk policy, underwriting guidelines and product policy end-to-end
• Run the periodic policy review cycle, keeping documentation current and audit-ready
• Investigate and quantify the impact of policy changes, using data to support findings before
• Resolve underwriting queries and feed practical learnings back into policy and guideline updates

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in credit risk, credit assessment, quality assurance or credit policy within a
• Demonstrated experience in a role with people leadership or mentoring responsibility, or clear
• Demonstrated experience owning or contributing to credit policy, underwriting guidelines or product
• Experience engaging with internal or external audit, compliance or regulatory stakeholders
• Excel and data querying skills, with the ability to investigate and interpret the impact of policy
• Business lending experience is desirable
