Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the visual and interactive quality of Method's design system including component states
• Build shader-based experiences for the website using Three.js and WebGL: hero sections, ambient
• Redesign and elevate the dashboard beyond a reskin; considered transitions, polished data
• Architect a component library that supports dynamic, on-the-fly UI construction (charts, layouts
• Make judgment calls on when to invest in bespoke work versus leveraging existing tooling, and
• Reduce reliance on contractors for production design and front-end UI work.

🎯 Requirements

• You have shipped interactive web work that required writing shaders; Three.js, WebGL, GLSL. Your
• You understand the full stack from GPU rendering to React component architecture; you know why it
• You have strong aesthetic opinions and the technical range to execute them without a dedicated
• You've built production design systems and component libraries that others actually use.
• You're an individual contributor by nature and default to building.
• You've worked at or contributed to places with genuine design craft: design studios, developer
