Director of Business Development & Strategy, Branded Payments

📋 Description

• Own the growth strategy for Rain's stored value / branded payments business, from opportunity
• Drive business development: build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners, lead commercial
• Shape the go-to-market strategy for branded payments — positioning, target segments, pricing
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate market and partner feedback into roadmap
• Work cross-functionally with Go-to-Market and Partnerships to ensure a coherent, coordinated
• Set strategic goals for the branded payments business and report progress against them to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial services and branded payments, with GTM and strategy work in
• Intellectual curiosity, commercial judgment, and a bias toward action
• A track record in business development or partnerships, ideally with direct exposure to deal-making
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering — you can speak both the
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic level: setting goals, prioritizing among competing
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal — you'll be representing this business both
