Director, Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as product counsel for Axon 911, advising on legal risk from early design through launch and
• Review product features, roadmaps, and integrations, and provide clear, practical guidance that
• Spot legal and regulatory issues across products that connect, share data, or integrate with one
• Act as the legal liaison to Privacy, InfoSec, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and
• Coordinate with those teams to align on risk positions and resolve legal questions that span
• Translate complex legal concepts into actionable direction for non-lawyers

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice (in good standing) in at least
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of legal experience, at a law firm, in-house, or both, with a focus on
• Demonstrated experience with risk management, including assessing risk, weighing business
• Strong issue-spotting skills, with the ability to work through complex questions that cut across
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal risk clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and exercise sound judgment with
