Electrical Component Engineer I (Onsite)

📋 Description

• Partner with design engineering teams early in the NPI development process to influence component
• Establish strong relationships with manufacturers and their associated representatives in the
• Work with the sourcing team to develop and ramp component sources for new products and support the
• Leverage your technical expertise and industry knowledge to select key strategic components to
• Assist the respective Category Managers and cross-functional category teams in developing and
• Identify and manage the implementation of cost reduction opportunities on new and existing products

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in component engineering or related roles.
• Work experience in a new product introduction (NPI) sourcing environment is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate cross functionally with groups such as Engineering, Quality, Global Supply
• Complete understanding/working knowledge of engineering documentation (i.e., schematics, component
• Ability to work on multiple cross functional projects simultaneously.
