Forward Deployed Finance Engineer, Buyout

📋 Description

• Lead discovery, demos, pilots, trainings, onboarding, and custom builds alongside Account
• Translate real investment work into Harvey solutions, serving as the trust layer across the
• Engage with middle-market and lower-middle-market buyout funds, sector specialists, and serial
• Build screening, underwriting, diligence, and investment committee workflows in the firm's
• Review CIMs, management presentations, QoE and data pack analysis, banker and operating model
• Continue post-close support: portfolio monitoring, add-on pipeline tracking, and valuation support

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years on the investment team at a buyout fund – middle-market or lower-middle-market, ideally
• Strong command of the documents and data that drive a buyout decision – CIM, management
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling
• Comfort with prompting and agentic AI workflows
• Builder's instinct for turning a repeated manual process into a repeatable automation
• Python, SQL, or experience building internal tools (plus)
