📋 Description

• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, setting expectations, priorities and growth
• Build the operating system (intake SLAs, negotiation playbooks, escalation paths) that lets the
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders across departments to shape negotiation strategy for new
• Own Checkr's procurement policy, approval thresholds, and vendor onboarding/due diligence process.
• Build the SOX controls and audit requirements related to procurement and vendor spend controls.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, including direct
• A track record of personally negotiating contracts across a range of spend categories
• Hands-on experience with a procure-to-pay or intake/orchestration platform (Zip or comparable
• Strong cross-functional influence skills driving alignment with budget holders and stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving process and tooling.
• Clear, structured communication; able to translate procurement activity into terms finance and
