📋 Description

• Serve as an internal subject matter expert on FTC and FDA advertising and marketing issues as they
• Review and advise on product claims and claim substantiation including scientific studies, clinical
• Sit on Ro's collaborative medical-legal-regulatory-marketing review team to support advertising
• Assess the legal and regulatory risk associated with proposed claims and recommend appropriate
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new strategic initiatives and advertising
• Stay abreast of developments in FDA and FTC regulations, state laws, and industry trends in

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of a state bar association.
• 5+ years of experience advising on product claims and claim substantiation of FDA- or FTC-regulated
• Demonstrated experience evaluating scientific and clinical evidence to substantiate advertising
• Strong knowledge of FTC advertising substantiation standards, including express and implied claims
• Familiarity with FTC enforcement actions, Lanham Act challenges, consumer false advertising
