Manager I, Engineering - Language Platform

📋 Description

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of roughly 4-8 library engineers — coaching, giving direct feedback
• Own team delivery and productivity: planning, milestones, reviews
• Collaborate with Product teams to: Reshape and grow our platform capabilities to enable product
• Stay technically close to the work — apply strong technical judgment, set a high standard for
• Build strong relationships and drive alignment across the language teams and product, backend
• Shape team identity and culture

🎯 Requirements

• An experienced Engineering Manager with a track record of shipping
• A strong and empathetic leader with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams to deliver
• An ability pivot from high level product narratives to highly technical implementation details
• Significant programming experience in one or more of: Go, C, Rust
• Bonus: Experience with one or more of these skills: systems programming experience, observability
