Manager II, Engineering - Observability Pipelines

📋 Description

• Own and grow the Observability Pipelines engineering org (NYC and Paris) with ROAM management and
• Partner with Product to co-own the roadmap and determine where engineering investment goes next.
• Set and evolve operating rhythm across the group (planning cadence, on-call, incident standards
• Coordinate cross-org relationships with SaaS Logs Pipelines, BYOC, and Vector open-source community.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced managing managers across distributed teams.
• Background in distributed systems and high-throughput data infrastructure.
• Familiar with on-premises or customer-installed software and its operational tradeoffs.
• Strategic partner to Product with ability to influence roadmaps and business outcomes.
• Commercially aware with ability to connect engineering decisions to business impact.
• Experience with high-performance or Rust-based data pipeline systems is a strong plus.
