Manager, Indirect Procurement

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals (category managers, sourcing
• Own a large, complex indirect portfolio, accountable for total cost, savings, supplier performance
• Develop and execute category strategies that balance cost, quality, service, and speed
• Lead and oversee competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing
• Own supplier relationships and performance for indirect categories, holding suppliers accountable
• Partner with internal stakeholders — Finance, IT, Facilities, HR, Legal, and department budget

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related
• 6+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with a focus on indirect categories preferred
• 2+ years leading or developing a team, with a track record of building and mentoring people
• Experience managing a sizable indirect portfolio (spend of comparable scale) with demonstrated cost
• Demonstrated success running sourcing events and negotiating high-value supplier contracts
• Working knowledge of multiple indirect categories (e.g., IT/software, professional services
