📋 Description

• Own AI spend category end-to-end (foundation-model, APIs, neocloud) with aligned strategy
• Champion AI adoption by identifying tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and scalable workflows
• Lead AI vendor negotiations across models, APIs, SaaS, and GPU capacity
• Partner with Engineering and Finance to convert architecture decisions into business cases
• Build pricing/consumption models and apply FinOps for savings
• Advise senior leadership on AI/neocloud investments and trade-offs

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in strategic sourcing with category ownership and negotiated savings
• Fluent in AI spend economics: foundation-model and API pricing, seat- and consumption-based SaaS
• Able to lead complex, high-spend negotiations independently and present business cases to senior stakeholders/Finance
• Strong executive presence, building trust and aligning leaders on strategy and trade-offs
• Curious about AI and emerging tech, turning them into practical applications
• Able to become an SME for sourcing systems such as Zip and hold a related degree
