Principal Infrastructure Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the technical architecture and evolution of core infrastructure: identify system limits
• Connect business understanding to improvements across the system: trace business workflows'
• Engineer for scale and performance: build capacity models, run load tests, diagnose bottlenecks
• Design and build AWS infrastructure: implement resilient account, IAM, network, and service
• Build and operate the Kubernetes platform: improve cluster architecture, autoscaling, and
• Scale and optimize Aurora RDS for MySQL and Postgres: tune queries, manage connections, improve

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field (required)
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, SRE, or software development
• Deep expertise with AWS (compute, IAM, multi-account architectures, VPC, networking)
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes in production (EKS preferred), including cluster lifecycle
• Deep expertise with relational databases: RDS/Aurora (MySQL or Postgres) performance, indexing
• Track record of delivering infrastructure scaling improvements in capacity, latency, reliability
