Print Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, start-up, and production ramp of
• Own daily print operations end to end, including production planning, job setup, prepress and file
• Build the function from the ground up, including team structure, hiring, onboarding, shift
• Remain close to the equipment by coaching operators on setup and changeovers, diagnosing print and
• Establish rigorous controls for artwork versions, job recipes, variable data, barcodes and QR
• Create and own operating KPIs, including safety, uptime/OEE, throughput, schedule attainment

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in commercial printing, folding-carton production, packaging print, or comparable
• 2+ years leading print operators, technicians, or comparison team, developing people and improving
• Hands-on with digital inkjet, flexographic, physical, or hybrid print (web handling/converting
• Knowledge of prepress and digital print workflows, including PDFs, RIPs, setup, color, density
• Understanding of print defects, registration, substrate behavior, ink adhesion/curing
• Ability to build SOPs, PM routines, training programs, dashboards, and handoffs.
