Security Engineer, Detection & Response

📋 Description

• Maintain, improve, and own detection engineering systems across our stack.
• Perform investigations and contribute to security incident response.
• Contribute to, maintain, and operate identity and access management systems.
• Grow across many security domains within a cross-functional team.
• Research, identify, and respond to emerging threats relevant to Sentry.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prevent and respond to security incidents.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in detection/response, corporate security, or security engineering.
• CS degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on with alert triage, detection tuning/writing, IAM, incident response, phishing response
• Programming in at least one language (Python preferred).
• Experience with distributed cloud tech (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform) and
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

🎁 Benefits

• Salary range $155,000 – $400,000 USD.
