Senior Construction Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure project design at the Wormhole factory—from concept development
• Translate operational requirements into buildable, code-compliant design packages across
• Serve as the central point of coordination for stakeholder engagement, consultant management, and
• Drive development of work center layouts in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers and CAD
• Manage design-phase budgets, soft cost estimates, and change tracking in partnership with project
• Provide construction administration support including submittal reviews, RFI responses, site walks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical
• 5+ years of experience leading capital or infrastructure projects through design, permitting, and
• Strong knowledge of building codes, fire/life safety, Title 24, and permitting requirements
• Proven ability to manage consultant deliverables, coordinate interdisciplinary design reviews, and
• Proficiency in reviewing construction documents, redlines, and QA/QC deliverables for scope clarity
• Organized communicator skilled at producing clear meeting notes, action trackers, and handoff
