Senior Cost Accountant

📋 Description

• Reconcile Finished Goods and Raw Material inventory accounts monthly, researching and resolving
• Perform quarterly Excess and Obsolete inventory calculations in accordance with company policy
• Conduct OCOGS expense reviews and analysis
• Prepare and record booking adjustment and accrual journal entries
• Perform quarterly Inventory Overhead calculations and analysis
• Assist with month-end close of the General Ledger for cost-related accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability for independent thinking and self-direction
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting (cost accounting/public accounting/auditing preferred)
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
