Senior Data Scientist, Business Analytics

📋 Description

• Own the growth operating model used to forecast the business, run scenarios, and steer the business
• Partner with Strategy & Ops and Finance on goal-setting and forecasting cycles
• Analyze data to diagnose and explain business trajectory and trends
• Size opportunities and model the impact of pricing changes and new business initiatives
• Partner with executive leadership and founders to shape strategic decisions
• Mentor peers, establish best practices, and shape team processes, tools, and standards

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in business data science, business analytics, or strategy and analytics
• Experience building financial or operating models with forecasting, regression analysis, cohort
• Advanced SQL essential; Python or scripting preferred
• Experience with modern cloud data stack (BigQuery, dbt, Hex, Airbyte) and data modeling best
• Experience with LLM tools (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex)
• Strong communication and storytelling
