Senior Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across Sales, Deal Desk, Finance
• Design, draft, and negotiate complex, high-value SaaS agreements, Master Service Agreements, vendor
• Innovate and refine key legal workflows, contract templates, and operational processes to boost
• Conduct forensic contract reviews to uncover potential risks and deliver practical
• Act as a strategic counselor to internal stakeholders on data privacy, product compliance
• Drive the legal framework behind high-stakes strategic growth, leading reviews for RFPs, tender

🎯 Requirements

• Holds a JD/LLB from an accredited law school and is active/admitted to practice law in any province.
• 8+ years of dynamic legal experience, ideally built within a fast-paced technology or SaaS
• Extensive experience negotiating and drafting complex SaaS subscriptions, professional services
• Deep expertise in global privacy framework regulations (such as GDPR) and their practical
• A solution-oriented mindset with advanced negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in tools like Salesforce or standard CRM systems and a track record of mentoring junior
