📋 Description

• Co-develop Datadog’s next visual direction across product journeys.
• Translate visual principles into hierarchy, layout, navigation, IA.
• Use visual language to clarify data-dense experiences.
• Partner with Product Design, Design Systems, and Eng to implement system guidance.
• Report to Design Director and lead a small team to define the future state.
• Hands-on product design leadership blending visual judgment with systems thinking.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in product and/or visual design.
• Elevated craft; can execute at a high bar.
• Product-native; understands how visual design and product interact.
• Think in information architecture, hierarchy, and system-level patterns.
• Portfolio shows shipped product surfaces with exceptional visuals.
• Persuasive collaborator aligning designers, engineers, product partners, and executives.
