Staff Software Engineer, Mission Control

📋 Description

• Own and lead Mission Control. Set the technical vision and roadmap for the platform used to run
• Build Mission Control as a platform. Design the core abstractions, data models, and extension
• Architect markets automation at scale. Drive the design of systems that change how markets are
• Make high-stakes technical decisions. Lead architecture and design reviews, weigh tradeoffs across
• Influence beyond your team. Work with core product, infrastructure, and data teams to align on
• Embed with and partner across teams. Work directly with leaders in Markets, Product, Polymarket US

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including significant time as a technical
• Deep expertise designing, building, and scaling full-stack web applications and platforms
• Expert-level skills in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS
• Extensive experience with React and Node.js (Next.js is a bonus)
• A track record of setting technical direction and delivering large, cross-team initiatives from
• Exceptional system design skills, including designing platforms that other teams build on
