Assistant General Counsel, M&A

📋 Description

• Help develop and implement the legal strategy for M&A activities in alignment with the
• Advise the company on Securities laws and reporting requirements.
• Drive best-in-class corporate governance in partnership with the CLO, including direct engagement
• Help lead and coordinate comprehensive due diligence processes for potential M&A and capital
• Help manage external legal counsel.
• Partner with the Strategy & Corporate Development team to advise the business and undertake

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited institution with outstanding academic credentials
• Admission to a State Bar within the United States
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience working for a top tier law firm. In-house experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated legal expertise in M&A, securities law and corporate governance.
• Extensive experience in managing complex M&A transactions, preferably within the technology or
• Excellent writing, analytical, negotiation, communication, strategic thinking, and presentation
