Staff Web Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead web performance across Legend, profiling and shipping speed improvements
• Deep dive into JavaScript internals, rendering pipelines, and real-time data
• Build and optimize high-frequency UI handling streaming market data
• Establish performance benchmarks and monitoring systems for repeatable standards
• Drive a performance-first culture through code reviews and docs
• Contribute to end-to-end feature development across Legend's trading surfaces

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building web apps with performance focus
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, including engine internals and GC
• Experience profiling browser rendering pipelines and diagnosing jank
• Proven ability to build high-frequency, real-time UI with streaming data (Canvas/Web Workers/WebSockets a plus)
• Fluency with performance tooling and measurement: Chrome DevTools, Performance/Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals
