State and Local Government Affairs Manager

📋 Description

• Help Spotify understand policy landscape in NY and other states.
• Develop positions on public policy proposals with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Legal, Communications, Product, and Trust & Safety to address policy
• Engage policymakers and external groups to advance Spotify’s policy priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in public policy or government affairs.
• Experience with policymakers or public policy stakeholders.
• Strong relationships with officials in NYC, NY State, and priority jurisdictions.
• Policy experience in the technology sector and translating policy into business implications.
• Experience engaging senior government and private-sector leaders.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to travel in the US as needed.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary range in US: 139,683–199,548 USD plus equity.
