Technical Accounting Manager, New Product

📋 Description

• Own technical accounting research and conclusions for new products and deals.
• Partner with Product and Deal teams to understand structures upfront.
• Evaluate crypto/digital assets and other frontier products with evolving guidance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Finance, and others to ensure consistent conclusions.
• Advise on ASC 606, ASC 350-60, ASC 810, and ASC 815 issues.
• Based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY with in-person 3 days/week.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in a technical accounting role.
• Public accounting experience; Big 4 or national firm preferred.
• Experience designing, implementing, and documenting technical accounting policies.
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP; research literature and implement positions.
• Interpret complex guidance and present accounting positions clearly.
• Experience at a crypto company is a plus.
